oh (vicarious) baby!

wouldja believe that lovely husband jeff and i are getting ready to become great uncle and aunt sometime in february??! yes indeed, our nephew richard and his lovely new wife will be welcoming a little lady into their family and we couldn't be more excited! and not just because there will be an awesome excuse for lots of pink frilly crafting... though obviously some of us are pretty happy about that part too. so let's start with a card for the shower:

patterned paper: creative imaginations + doodlebug; white glossy cardstock: paper accents; flowers: michaels + petaloo; brad: mme; stickers: mambi, jolies and... ummmm... others of unknown origin; adhesives: elmers brand gluetape, 3m foam tape, gluedots, sewing machine

i can't decide whether to be embarrassed or proud that many of the items on this card are so old i have no idea where they came from, or who made them. so i guess i'll go with proud, lol. meritorious stash usage, with pink frilly clusters! :)

i actually started this card using the current cardabilities sketch (#114), but it morphed so far away from the original design that i've decided not to link up. it's a great sketch, though, so i'm sure i'll have another shot at it.

next up, a little crocheting needs to be done. i may be some time. talk amongst yourselves, darlings! ♥

  1. Definitely proud. Could this card BE any cuter? I think not. Your menagerie of baby items totally look like an entire nursery on one sweet card. :D
